Yes it takes away the magic of those errors if you spot them. Like it used to be like “oh look, we’re all just humans after all!” and now its like “hmm, could be AI… why is this everywhere”

i’m gonna be negative about AI even harder.

No because i usually prefer loose pants and if i have heavy stuff in the pockets close to the knee and walk or run, that stuff hits my legs and i don’t like that. Maybe the pocket pants from your pals buisness were not marketed good enough or to the wrong crowd. I for example never heard about.

I’m pretty sure i want pockets and i’m pretty sure that i don’t care if my figure is highlighted or not. It would be even better if my pants would draw attention to my big ass pant pockets because then i could show of my pockets.

yes:

• Notifications sometimes don’t work, like you would get notifications about new messages only a couple of minutes after you opened the app and not before, so you can miss several months of a group conversation (it is possible that this can be adjusted but i did not find the option in the settings that actaually solved this problem)
• the calling function does have 5 steps (why? i don’t know) to eventually establish a connection and mostly doesn’t work. And in the rare case it works the connection is not even that good. Like there are frequent interuptions so you would miss every 7th to 10th (or so) word the other person said

sadly it sucks

i like it and i think it is very easy to use. Downside is no calling or video calling. But i don’t need that anyway. For me it is a perfect replacement for Whatsapp and the only reason i don’t use only DeltaChat is that most of my friends don’t want to install “yet another app” or insist on the calling function like socially needy weaklings.
