I spent hours on the Star Wars webring. Practiced jedi meditation, was convinced I could move stuff with my mind, and learned all about Kashyyyk.
Exactly!
Frost River. They can be a bit heavy, but are lifers. They typically make portaging packs, but their daily bags are made just as durable.
Sandwiches are eaten like a typewriter. It drives my partner bonkers, she says I’m nuts…jokes on her, she’s still hanging around 😂
I checked out the Castle book so much the librarian practically had it ready for me as I walked throttle door.
That’s impressive, I never found an electric that I liked.

I second the safety razors. Except I’ve been running through the same box since 2016 and I’m barely half through. Takes a bit to learn, but when I want a real smooth shave nothing beats it (except maybe an actual blade razor).
Like everyone else said, he understands there’s a mean stabby person, and that you love him. As far as science can tell, they don’t understand that what’s being done to them is for their own good. It’s why veterinary chemotherapy tries not to go so hard to induce the bad side effects nearly as much as in humans. Humans understand why they feel so bad and that it’s somewhat temporary. Since animals don’t (as far as our understanding), we try not to push them into the puking, losing hair, feeling like udder crap zone. If that happens they usually dial back the dosage so the side effects are better controlled.
Halo, Arkham Asylum, KOTOR. Honorable mentions (so hard to pick just a few) - Assassin’s Creed II, Ocarina of time, Dark Forces
Basically this.
I would probably say the GameCube. Looked neat, easy transport, had the most games I would just sit and play repeatedly.
Especially with bacon 🤤
I had a lodge that I didn’t do anything but cook on, didn’t have any issues. The ex got that one. Had an old crappy one that I couldn’t get to non stick the way my lodge did, then I sanded and seasoned it well before next use. By far my favorite pan years later.
It’s kinda funny just how strong folks’ opinions are on this.
I used to think the same thing, then I tried it with one of my crappiest pans for shoots and ladders. It’s my best pan by far and probably won’t need to buy another one.
Easily dealt with by seasoning yourself. It’s not hard to get a nice initial season, then add some bacon for the good stuff.
My go to knives are Mora and Opinel. Have only had to buy new ones because I lost it.
For a backpack, Frost River is a bit expensive, but they are practically bulletproof.
Sand the crap out of any new pan can make a ‘meh’ pan into a ‘muah’ pan. A lot of them aren’t nearly as smooth as they could/should be. We bought a cheap one that was quite bumpy, sanding down was a night and day difference.
Over the last few years I did some stretches of a lot of 90’s and early 2000’s sitcoms.
In regards to the ones I now cant stand: Home Improvement, Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens tops my list. I adored those shows growing up, now I wouldnt watch bored flicking through the channels.
Was very surprised how much I ended up loving some I hated growing up. Seinfield, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Frasier, just to name a few.
