soliloquy@startrek.websiteto Futurama @lemmy.world•Tell me your favorite line from Futurama?English47·5 months agoFarnsworth: Dear Lord! That’s over 150 atmospheres of pressure!
Fry: How many atmospheres can the ship withstand?
Farnsworth: Well, it’s a space ship, so I’d say anywhere between zero and one.

Would probably give them a better flavor.
We use charcoal and it’s pretty darn good. We prefer to cook them until there’s a ‘crispy’ texture on the outside, my SO doesn’t enjoy softer textures and figured out a way to carefully cook them to have a bit of char. They feel even closer to beef like this to us.
I’ve also experimented with a griddle by smashing them thin too. Results were promising, I just haven’t quite got it down yet though
I personally prefer the Impossible meat, it feels a lot more like beef than Beyond. Not to say Beyond isn’t great too though
Is the mash potatoes? The texture and colour is throwing me off
Lpt: Just paint the grass at the same time, colour matching won’t be a problem ;)
And tore me to pieces

soliloquy@startrek.websiteto Games@lemmy.world•Can anyone suggest some good co-op games for two people?English3·8 months agoPopping in to suggest Ship of Fools and Cult of the Lamb
Ship of Fools was shorter than I’d like but lots of fun. Currently playing through Cult of the Lamb co-op and and we’ve been having a blast

soliloquy@startrek.websiteto Gaming@beehaw.org•Are game studios suddenly abandoning Black developers?English8·1 year agoPrototype 2 (2012)
It’s been a while, I can’t really remember the game well but I do remember enjoying the prototype games.
I can’t recall too many other games that haven’t already been mentioned here either
I’m here for Voyager for the same reasons. I like the characters, the setting is great to explore situations and themes away from the federations protection and influence. I also like ‘found family’ themes, the crew being one big family that depends on, uplifts and supports one another is just nice
She said that but she was wrong lol Off the top of my head both the Terminator and Alien series had lead female action hero’s that predate the Hunger Games
Also I don’t mean to be pedantic, I can’t tell if this is a stealth /s discussion or not
It looks like the train spun out and slid backwards off the tracks on the right

soliloquy@startrek.websitetoTelevision@lemmy.world•[Weekly Thread] What have you been watching?English3·2 years agoI liked the first season of Miracle Workers and wish they would have continued with that concept. I like the idea of anthologies but what the heck was this lol I almost stopped watching it. The title doesn’t make sense anymore I don’t understand why they would name it Miracle Workers if this was always the plan?
The later seasons are fine if anyone’s thinking of picking this up. It’ll just feel like less of a betrayal if you go in knowing it’s an anthology with completely different settings and characters and not a single concept series
soliloquy@startrek.websiteto Games@lemmy.world•Looking for games with strong female leads for my daughter (even just to watch as I play). Came across this link, but they're a bit age-inappropriate. Any suggestions from the community?English6·2 years agoSlime Rancher is a good one. It’s bright, fun, has adorable critters and plenty to do and explore. There’s a sequel too but I’m not sure if it’s released yet or not.
The main character is a silent protagonist though so might not be completely what you’re looking for

Is that a golf course? I’ve never seen this kind of shot of the pyramids before lol
