There are extensions that make those kinds of thing disappear permantly. Life has been hood since enabling that.

Very dumb considering a good chunk of their AI tools that “help” with coding is built on things that are in Github. So, having a lot of people, and up-and-coming coders, move to something else is bad for business. AI inbreeding is going to become an issue sooner.

Depends on if this is a work issued device or not. If someone steals my work issued, I don’t care at all. We have systems where I can still get my things done and the laptops are encrypted with remote wipe capabilities. Sucks to lose equipment, but whatever. That’s on my boss’ cost center.

Losing my personal laptop is another story. That’s money out of my pocket, investments in upgrades, and the worst part is the sticker hoard on the lid. How am I supposed to re-coup that kind of loss? I don’t even remember where I got all of them, and then the placement. It took weeks for some of them to make the cut and get positioned where you could still see the logo on the front without hindering the others. This would be a travesty.

If they can resell it. I’ve had some discussions with people trying and either nobody wants it, or the issues with Tesla wanting their cut. I hope there is a class action suit against Tesla and they are required to buy back all cars/dumpsters.

I would love to agree here, but I live in an area where they do such a piss-poor job of announcing when people need to vote, that even I have a hard time knowing all of the things and when they happen. I signed up for email/text alerts and they only go out a few days before voting day. For some people, that is not enough time to plan to be off and be at the polling place.

Not making an argument for it, but technically they’re using the exception to the amendment. Most states, including California, have it in their state amendments, so unless they put in another Federal amendment it’s going to remain this way.

If I’m following news properly, these are probably the juveniles who were taken from their holding facility to fight fires. They are not compensated for this work, but are placed in harm’s way.

If you’re going to do this, use blanks or shotgun with birdshot. That way you’re not raining lead on some unsuspecting person a mile or so away and birdshot is just small bbs that don’t have a high terminal velocity.

TLDR; Skinner was not awarded the shutout because he was removed from the game in the first period due to concussion protocols. He did finish the game, but since he wasn’t the only goalie, no shutout.

I find it’s very regional inside of the US. It depends on a few factors, but age, prominance, and locality to a “night-life” tends to be the primary ones I find. I live very rural in Southern US, and it’s hit or miss if I ever smell a guy with cologne, but when I do it’s the guy I know goes out a lot and lives in-town or much older.
