I think people with 5mil could probably get in a lot cheaper.
I don’t get all the hate for Nintendo. Sure they’re expensive but they’re an OG games company largely acting like one. None of that freemium always-online microtransaction bullshit. Look at the Mario Kart expansion pack, it doubles the number of courses you get. It literally doubles the size of the game, and it’s not even that expensive. Plus they still support physical cartridges which most companies are trying to get rid of (and user expandable storage).
While the idea sounds good I don’t think anyone should be setting a precedent to say it’s okay for elected governments to ban opposition parties from running based on their political views. Ultimately the people should hold the power.
I hope they’re going to keep the late 90s theme from Thunderbird. Maybe a dancing baby gif.
I’m curious do many people in the US know about the Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act? I only learnt about it yesterday from the BBC. I found it really interesting to read about it as it seemed to be exactly the same process that we’re going through now.
I don’t understand how people are so mailing with the shape of a fast food restaurant.
What’s the point in doing this and complaining that no one outside of American buys American cars?
I think this is pretty routine in America isn’t it? People will accept a lot when the alternative is death.
Jesus Christ, it’s just a bit of fun…
You’d be pretty glad of it if you unlocked accidentally in your pocket.
He could have done all this without being such a dick and if he’d been polite about it other countries would have probably been somewhat understanding, at least in public sentiment. It’s not a good look to claim everyone else is ripping you off. If they were ripping you off you wouldn’t be the richest country in the world.
Sorry, I love Linux and wish everybody was on it but no way is Windows “just as hard”. Maybe if you want to look behind the curtain and start tinkering Linux is easier but on the face of it I’d say Linux is somewhere around early Windows XP when it comes to usability for a normal person.
To be fair, I struggle with the search function. I don’t find the UI on the website very intuitive and I feel it misses things. I don’t trust it.
I was surprised when he complained that the rest of the world doesn’t buy American cars. I thought Ford sells quite a lot and it seemed as though the other companies aren’t interested in foreign markets. If they want to sell their cars in Europe why don’t they make cars that look like the cars Europeans buy, rather than those ugly American ones? I don’t think anyone would have had a problem buying an American car otherwise.
Didn’t realise Bahco were American.
Oh no
I’ve booked two restaurants because I changed my mind about the first one. I’ve got a card on the way. I’ll probably make her breakfast in bed and let her have a lie in (this is my wife, not Mum). I might try and find an activity or something for the afternoon. I’ll probably cook tea (dinner).
Imagine if you could go on the Nintendo store and buy a game you couldn’t even run, or had to check a third party website to see if it ran acceptably and let you use all the buttons.
