I believe in the “olden days” people used plant trimming to make butter after harvest and not flower.

Once the ai bubble breaks for llms it will drag general machine learning down with it once panic sets in. People wil dump any stock that even faintly smells like ai.

Some actually valuable business may disappear, on the other hand those that survive and are undervalued may actually be a good investment opportunities.

Can you give me some channel recommendations cause my main struggle is that I don’t branch out.

The few channels I do follow I have for followed for years. Veritasium, Steve Mold, Kurtzegesagt.

Some of those might have partreon/flowplane but that’s to rich for my blood.

Especially good tech/science oriented channels i’d love to know whats out there but I don’t want to follow algorithm recommendations.

I have the option enabled where I can see how often i up/down voted specific users and I have been positively suprised on the amount of times i encounter people who I have disagreed with, in agreement on different topics.

I also sympathise with your vote remove scripts, I am altering websites to my own preference similarly.

This idea attracted Roman aristocracy who wrote about virtue and simple life while owning multiple villas.

What bothers me the most about this. What/How do “we from the present” know about stoicism/cynicism and other potential branches… because of ancient writings that survived.

Writing was expensive, even the little We know about other branches, its almost all viewed from the perception of the stoic Roman elite.

Even Diogenes writings are gone, what we know about him comes from a gossip collector, a satirist and from rich stoics implementing some sanitised actual cynicism.

I have called out numerous articles for being ai written myself.

This one however reads very human and does not have the obvious tells of ai.

It also uses and describes coherent pictures from the actual research.

The “wormhole, multiple realities” thing is hyperbolic, the researchers even directly state that that is not really what is going on but the analogy might help people grasp what is actually going on.

I have been interested into “nano composite/meta materials”for a while, personally labeling it the most important technological breakthrough to date.

What this research has found was theoretically expected, it significantly lifts me up to read we managed to demonstrate it in our lifetime.
