        It doesn’t actually, I don’t believe. Active doesn’t factor in the amount of comments, just gives a buff to posts with recent comments (with some exponential decay so that we don’t get struggle sessions staying on active for days on end) rather than just looking at post published time and upbears

        so the bots are likely too prompt to make much difference. A new comment every 15 mins would be better probably
