Oh, this post actually isn’t from Mastodon 😅 I initially tried crossposting from Mastodon, but it didn’t federate, so I copied the text and made a post on my lemmy account instead. Usually, I can just tag an instance on a Mastodon post and it will boost it and create a thread on there, but it didnt work with this instance :/
How is Mastodon? I have been meaning to try it. Do people talk and have conversations there, because the text limit is way longer than Twitter’s, or is it basically Twitter with longer posts?
It’s definitely easy to talk there, even if people are missing the quote-retweet function. I personally love the CW-feature. Makes it easy to talk about spoilers and sensitive topics
