Compared to other Google apps, YouTube maintains its own mobile design language. YouTube is testing a blurred bottom bar on Android.

Even without apps, disable YouTube and use it in a browser. No reason to even have an app.

It’s so weird how Google is incredibly terrible at their own apps anymore. Apple makes their own apps (mostly) shine.
