Not much of an article here; he literally just said the line in the title.
I’m playing this now with my 4 year old (she prefers to watch) and it really is amazing, and not just as a kid friendly game, but overall as an experience. I highly recommend it.
I’m a fan of this game and love all the details, characters, gameplay and level design. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that it’s basically a huge Playstation ad. I hope for the next game(s) they break out of this somehow.
You’re also sort of describing Nintendo games here which is also the point of the article?
At which point does Mario fly around in a big Nintendo controller and where does it say that in the article?
What I mean is that Smash Bros or any number of other Nintendo games are chockablock full of internal references and basically ads for Nintendo.
At which point does Astrobot have physical miniatures that you have to collect in real life just to unlock parts of your game? You are basically paying for ads of other games.
Yeah, I guess from my perspective it almost goes hand and hand with their 30th anniversary and is a celebration of all that came before. So I don’t view it as an ad tbh. But I do agree that it’ll be interesting to see what direction they take it with a sequel.
