The Palestinian militant group Hamas has recruited between 10,000 and 15,000 members since the start of its war with Israel, according to two congressional sources briefed on U.S. intelligence, suggesting the Iran-backed fighters could remain a persistent threat to Israel.

The intelligence indicates a similar number of Hamas fighters have been killed during that period, the sources said.

Decimating peoples’ homes turns them into radicals? I am surprised!

There must be some other explanation. I mean if the killed my grandparents, parents and a few siblings, maybe a kid or two etc., I’d not hold any grudges.

Yeah, you’re supposed to just turn the other cheek!

I mean only radicals as much as fighting Israeli occupation is a radical ideology, which is to say not very. I mean don’t get me wrong most of these new recruits (and many of the old ones) likely are radicals who would like to kill Jews and drink their blood, but this and that are different things.
