    It’s pretty, but when the surface of water is involved it really becomes necessary to take simultaneous pictures for left and right. The refraction changes chaotically very quickly, so there’s a mismatch between the left and right image.

    I don’t mean to discourage you, this is still good, just pointing out the shortcomings of the method!

      The water was quite calm that day so the artifacts from movement are very minimal and don’t seem to detract from the effect, especially how the far side of the dock seems to jut out into open space.
