I also watched the presentation with Adam Savage and you could see the creator was very nerdy about his product and every single feature. I loved it. But unfortunately this kind of knife is not allowed in my country so I can’t carry it around with me, making the whole thing useless.
Depends on the laws of your country, in the kickstarter they do offer a lock-less configuration and less than 3 inches blade length.
But yeah I get you. My country even outlaws the victorinox Classic SD technically and anything bigger than that “without valid reason”. Self defense is not a “valid reason”, nor does “just in case”.
Oh I didn’t see that. I’m in Germany, we do not allow single handed opening, locked blades and certain blade lengths. They have an option for exactly that. Good to know, thanks!
Still not sure if I will buy one since there will be a hefty shipping rates and import duties and whatnot. I very rarely buy anything outside the EU because of that.
