Edit 2 days later: thanks again for input, just updated last night, went super quick and Findroid (last stable version) still works fine!!!
I was just about to update Jellyfin to 10.11 finally when I realised I have no idea if Findroid, the 3rd party Android client, will keep working with it.
My family is using it to connect to our server and so there is pressure for me that this stays functional. I checked their github and it seems they are in the middle of a rewrite.
Found a topic in the issues that something isn’t working with 10.11 but it wasn’t clear if its the rewrite beta version or the last stable one. Anyone here using Findroid with 10.11 who can tell me if it works as expected?

There seems to be an active rewrite going on, so I am cautiously optimistic.
But what else is there even? The offical app is ok but not very nice to use, no good download system, just downloads files without direct way of playing them. Others I know are Fladder and Streamyfin, both also not working super well with downloads last time I tried. And lastly Jellyflix from the PlayStore which is not open source.
Seems to be working for me with Findroid 0.15.3 on jellyfin server 10.11.1, did a clean install just for this test, just also tested downloading and offline play pay, that also seemed to work.
If the app was still installed and logged in when upgrading to latest major version of jellyfin server, the other poster might have to clean cache on the app. I had to do this for all my current jellyfin android app sessions, otherwise it wouldn’t connect to the new jellyfin instance after I upgraded.
1st pic my findroid version installed, 2nd pic my jellyfin server version, 3rd pic streaming from findroid.
Woah, huge thanks, also for all the documentation! Guess I’ll take the plunge tonight after all.
