Lemmy has a discoverability problem for me. I found out the search function only finds communities on other instances if another user has explicitly looked for it. Is there a better directory somewhere that’s not just search on an instance?

For example I’m looking for a community on table top role playing games as an alternative to /r/rpg, but other things, too.

Please help me find a better way, an rpg community alone is not the answer.
