Trojan in latest release?

I decided to give Syncthing a go, as it sounds like the perfect tool for a specific issue I’m facing. However, upon downloading it, I get presented with two problems. First, in the browser: And then, when I tell the browser to go ahead and download regardless:

    No. Windows is a bit jumpy when it comes to unsigned binaries.
    Pull the zip from the GitHub page and you are fine.

    Bad post, tempted to report, as just reading the contentents of the linked discussion makes it clear that its just some boomer who got confused by a triggerhappy antivirus.
