As seen very briefly in the movie Weekend at Bernie’s II (1993), what is the yellow box like thing this lady is carrying? Camera? Maybe, but what make or model?
Looks like water resistance training equipment.

I think you’re right https://www.hydrorevolution.com/product/hydro-tone-hydro-bells/
Not an exact match though, so maybe a coincidence.
I was thrown off since it’s a weird place to be carrying one and typically used in pairs. They probably just grabbed some pool equipment and handed it to a character to add to the vacation feel of the scene.
There’s another one behind her. It looks like they may be connected with a thin strap and she’s carrying it over her shoulder.
Missed that. Good catch.
Movies have a tendency to do this. Low budget, reuse of props from other sets, plastic glued to everyday items.
First link I found but it did cover 2 of the instances I knew about. https://www.boredpanda.com/movie-props-everyday-household-items/
How incredibly bizarre.
Yeah bottom line it wasn’t something common. I was a young adult then and I’ve never seen one.
This is it! In this scene we are watching people disembark from a shuttle service on a resort on an island. Water resistance exercises were a pretty big fad back then. It all lines up. Thanks!
Glad to help! It actually brought back memories of playing around with some at my grandma’s pool when I was a kid.

Thanks!
How?
Underrated movie. Definitely the better of the two.
Could it be a slightly weird handbag? There seems to be another yellow thing just to the left, maybe a shoulder strap?
Good eye, but she’s moving fast in the frame of the video, so that’s just an artifact of my shody screenshot.
Well, that’s what I originally thought, maybe it’s the other half of what should be a pair of the things she’s hold slung over her shoulder. She’s literally only on screen for a second or two, so I only ever saw the one big yellow thing in front.
So weird! Hope you can find out what it is :-)
EDIT - oh wait, you did!
Is it a waterproof seal for a camera?
Complete guess
As a camera collector it doesn’t look like any camera I’ve seen
It has holes, that look like they’re for a speaker, possibly a floating waterproof radio.
Most be pretty light of she is holding it with just one hand
Prehistoric cell phone. Jk
looks like binoculars
