nah. i mean, lain is gay and spends a lot of her time at the club considering she’s 12, but the song is just “it would be a kinda funny date night for a straight couple to go to a gay bar”
I need to rewatch the show, I missed that the first time (don’t make fun, i was a literal child).
if you pay attention it’s really clear she’s in love with her classmate alice (i mean she says “alice i love you” which isn’t exactly subtle). i mean, she’s not necessarily gay, she could be some other type of queer, but close enough

Was introduced to this video by my wife. The editing is extremely high quality and shockingly forward-looking, but the song flipped some kind of switch in my brain that told me “Oh this is a fossilized ass old school meme. A high quality vintage. 2007 for sure.” I miss the stupidass Gay Bar memes, good shit
