If Google can get some high quality keyboards and cases it will help draw buyers.

I completely agree. Although they may not be marketing the tablet as a productivity device, I think many people (including myself) will still use it for light tasks while travelling or heading away for a long-weekend due to its portability. So at least providing people the option to purchase high-quality accessories would be great imo.

All that said, I love the Nexus and Pixel phones I’ve had, love the Pixel Buds, and recently got a Pixel watch. So the tablet is a solid maybe.

Seeing as the majority of those devices have gone on sale fairly quickly after launch, im hoping the same happens with the tablet, would make it pretty enticing for me tbh.

Overall, I’m keen to see what’s to come. I’ll post an update to this community (sub-Lemmy??) if I end up biting the bullet and getting the tablet around its release.
