just because it’s legally ok for you to take it, doesn’t mean it’s not theirs, even if it comes from you. civil forfeiture is legal, doesn’t mean it’s ok.
Somewhere in Oklahoma, some 12 year old got back from their shift at the meat packing plant and found out their parents already spent their paycheck on Fortnite skins that SUCK 😑

Or you know, just beat your kids like they did when I was young. Being bullied at school for not spending your allowance on Fortnite skins would pale compared to the spanking I’d get when asked where my allowance went.
I’ve probably spent a grand total of $30 in the past 20 years of buying stuff like skins in games, but as to the question of wasting money; is it really more of a waste than anything else you buy for joy or entertainment? Is it different to spend $40 on an rc quadricopter than a game skin? Both are likely almost pure profit, and realistically the skin will last longer than the rc. Most forms of entertainment spending could be seen as a “waste”. For decades most people paid for cable TV. Or the NFL package. Fame skins really aren’t different.
And here I’m bullying kids for wasting their money
As a parent, its not their money. Sigh.

I think they meant that kids spend money on skins that their parents earn, not that it’s okay for parents to take money their kids earn.

What are you talking about?
The solution is simple: don’t give kids money 🤷

Arguing with that dude is like arguing with a sovereign citizen. His concept of the way the world works isn’t based in reality.
Didn’t ask
You kind of did, by publicly posting it.
Because the lack of question marks indicates a question 🧠
