Build a T10 they said. It will be fun they said.

Noone told me I had to actually fly that thing.

My masterplan was to do a “quick” exploration trip to beaglepoint and then buy a stupidly armored and armed t10 (that was the combat version of space cow, yea?). This post kinda makes me rethink the whole plan.

I left on the trip years a go, reached beagle point and kinda … Just not played since. :D

The “haha funny flying city block” appeal quickly fades once you realise the T10 barely breaks 300m/s :D

My fondest memory was taking my Conda out to Beagle Point as part of DW2 watching Game Show Network on twitch while jumping.

Never really got back into it after returning, since thargoids were hard to do with my conda and I kind of accomplished all my other goals in the game. Maybe I should go get it working in VR again and just drive around for old time’s sake.

Never flew the 10, but I always wished it were as effective as the T-9 for hauling. I’ve been all over the galaxy and still my best memories from my time with Elite Dangerous are from slowly dragging my ass around local systems during hauling missions, trying to fill in the gaps with whatever cheap shit I picked up at the last station, all the while playing old “Golden Age” country music that drones out hauntingly against the backdrop of space. Elite does space trucking so well…
