Perhaps nix & NixOS are two sufficiently broad sub-topics, but since both communities have been rather quiet (right now), perhaps they should be consolidated?
I’ll be attempting to contact @Atemu@lemmy.ml (!nix@lemmy.ml mod) to discuss this, but I wanted to open it up to the community for a chance to provide feedback, arguments for/against, etc.
checking two subs is a hassle and lemmy is pretty small and will probably stay that way for a very long time.
Once lemmy will be big enough we can consider splitting it.
IMO the best option is to create a community called nix_and_nixos and use that.
