Believe it or not, this was actually a line in the 50s and 60s – Nixon and others claiming that the US actually embodied the Marxist idea of “common ownership” much better than the USSR (because of employee joint-stock programs or something)
But everyone is equal in America: No matter how stupid you are, what qualifications you lack, what dangers you pose to your environment, or how many conflicts of interest you accumulate, with enough money you can do anything!
Those aren’t “Actual Americans” to them though, they are “African-Americans” or “American Indians,” and the other Americans from the rest of the continent are just “Latinx”. Can’t have them thinking they belong in the continent, let alone the country.
They’re actually still pulling the “everyone is equal in America™”? After how they treated the Natives and their Black citizens?
Yep. And they still trot out “America is a classless society” from time to time as well.
Oh, really? Maybe we should point out that a real classless society is actually a Communist society :)
