I was able to test it out last night and successfully made it from Stanton to Pyro.

The tunnel is currently just a greybox/placeholder most likely to make debugging any issues easier, but the fact that their tech works is game changing.

While party jumping isn’t in, it is possible to follow someone else into the jump point and if you’re close enough you can see them throughout the entire jump.

Transitions are indeed seamless. I was also able to move around a ship while going through the jump… (no loading screen).

It is possible to collide with another ship/object mid-jump.

Currently there are a number of reclaimers/vultures cleaning up the exit points of the jumpgate from the collisions occurring there as well.

Got my answer ^^ Kernel_Sanders@Kernel_Sanders Yesterday at 17:37 Once re-reading the instructions and a bit of learning that purchased QT drives do not work… Was successfu in both going both ways with: -Corsair -C2 Hercules (with cyclone and arrow onboard) - I though this might cause a catastrophic death of some sort - but was ok

Someone with a quantum drive needs to “activate” or open up the jumpgate.

There’s a short window while it’s open that anyone can piggyback off of that and go through the jumpgate.

It’s just a very risky move right now because if you’re too close, you increase the chance of a collision as you’re being sucked into the wormhole, or while it’s spitting you back out.

I haven’t personally tried jumping with multiple ships inside of a C2 yet, but I haven’t had any issues hauling cargo through with a Hull-C.
