      They sure have. The lesson is that it only costs $10k to lie about where you offer broadband

        They should have to pay $10k per day for every address that they lied about having broadband until they provide it to each location.

    I remember the argument with my local regulator, ACMA, about not being able to get broadband.

    They said that it’s OK because while they don’t provide access to broadband they allow access to broadband.

    Honestly, a $10,000 fine seems a vast step up from the usual dregs trawled up from the bottomless pit that telecom regulation tends to be.
