I paid for the sync app on Reddit back when it was like $2 or 5. I’m not paying $99 to remove ads. I know there are dev costs, but there aren’t any API costs here right?

I’ll still use Sync here until I see what Boost brings over it’s released.

Removing ads is $20, the lifetime cloud subscription is $99. $99 is definitely a high price tag, but I suppose if you plan to use this app for the next decade it may well be worth it.

Part of it is that it this dudes only job, he left his old job to work on a reddit app and they pulled the rug out from under him. There are people out there that don’t mind kicking him a hundred bucks and in a space where a lot of people are tech workers they can afford it.
