In D3 we got exclusive mats from disenchanting them, but so far I’ve found no use for common and magic items in D4. Any ideas?

Maybe to make it feel more special when an actually useful item drops?
Yeah, I think that’s a key purpose. Plus, it’s just fun when enemies/chests/etc are loot pinatas!
