Like, it’s actually kind of of difficult to make a model to scale, especially for a small onenits not all going to be proportional. So even if you were drawing the line at “commercially sold” I’m sure some don’t meet the requirement to be within scale.
I get Shatner meant there’s no “life size” model, but if someone’s gonna be pedantic, it’s an excuse to be pedantic back.

This was confirmed in the book Shatner wrote about his friendship with Nimoy after he died where Shatner said “It was such a small thing Leonard”. Takei has talked endlessly about how Shatner was a prick to work with on stage too.

Totally on me. I misremembered and just checked. He only had the cameraman record footage, not ask questions.
