Or rom sites. I think it was Nintendo that had Emuparadise shut down.
Emuparadise just got cold feet after another one bit the dust, it’s why they are still up, just not hosting roms.
Hosting the roms was the illegal part, when they stopped there was no legal basis for Nintendo to pursue them anymore.
