    I had a car that had a broken fuel gauge. I figured out how many miles it would get on a full tank until the light came on and used that as my fuel gauge. 20+ years later, I still use the trip counter to keep track of my miles per tank. Bonus is when it starts to fluctuate, you know you need to give the car some kind of attention.

    Don’t give car manufacturers ideas in the enshittificiation era. “Well you do have the option to subscribe to our fuel-as-a-service…”

      To one up the shit…

      The car will broadcast how much fuel percentage you are at, to all nearby gas stations. They will then automatically adjust prices depending on how low the nearby average is.

      Only car near the station and your real low? Them prices are sky high
