When we had really tight fortnights, 2 minute noodles and gigantic batches of spag bol or beef chow mein were what we lived off of. I can’t stand them because of that reason, but they are all quite good cheap and well rounded meals. You can skip or substitute the beef to make them vego or cheaper if need be too
Big batch of bolognese frozen might almost be cheaper and healthier. At least it’ll make you feel better in the cold.

Oh yeah Lentils work super well in 'em. I’m partial to a big of roasted pumpkin in 'em too but I know thats subjective.
