probably not the flex he thinks after DD2’s poor performance even on REframework and the state of PC releases in general
Hearing statements like these really makes me appreciate the two studio/tag team approach Capcom takes to developing MH games.
I love that the portable/rise team is more focused on mechanics and systems, whereas the mainline team is more concerned with scale and simulation.
The fact that they can learn from each other and include the other team’s successful additions into their own mix really means each game is taking steps in the right direction.
The hype train for Wilds ain’t slowing down at all.
I’m excited but I hope they’ve learned how to balance CPU usage and performance. World wasn’t the greatest for that.
I hope so too, but also highly doubt it. It is still Capcom, let’s not get too excited. 😅
Yeah I’m ngl, this makes me really nervous ny ryzen 1600x isn’t gonna cut it. I’d prefer gameplay over graphics.
I’ve seen people say the alleged cause of the DD2 issue was the NPC processing it had to do. But, if this is going to be a fluid, semi-open world with no hub transitions or instanced quests, it seems like that problem isn’t off the table.
