I imagine the symbiote works much like the Thing, which can reshape and take on any form. That should, presumably, include putting Eddie back together more or less as he was.
I seem to recall it heals the host…so I guess it could dislocate his jaw and tear his face open every time it opens its mouth, then simply heal him after. Kinda puts a new perspective on it.
When the jaw opens, Eddie’s head tilts back.
Like, in the meme Eddie would be eating everything Venom eats. That’s not what’s happening when Venom eats brains. It’s being enveloped and disgusted by the symbiote like how a single celled organism envelopes and digests food.
It could even explain why Venom’s eyes are a long diagonal if Eddie needs to physically see. I think it might be more like the symbiote bond works both ways. Venom always sees what Eddie sees, and when Venom has his eyes out, Eddie just gets those signals sent to his brain.
Which would also explain why venom would align his eye with Eddie’s in the first pic, even if that’s not always lined up like that.

In the limited series from the 90s, Venom: Carnage Unleashed, Venom is thrown in to a train by carnage and merges in to a stripe on the train to hide and escape.
Eddie becomes goop.
I saw that. That’s the post I got the meme from. This is more about O’Brian trying to replicate that with the transporter buffer.
Venom is a tool. A goal. An ideal that O’Brian could achieve.
How can you not see that!? Am I the only one that’s not crazy around here!
