Maybe they splurged for a ceramic one. Or illegally bought a real one.

It’s also going to degrade by the time they sell. It won’t even look like a skeleton by then.

Plastic that isn’t in the sun doesn’t tend to degrade beyond recognition.

The stuff on the surface will still get enough uv over 10 to 20 years to degrade and collapse. Plastic Halloween decorations aren’t built to last outside.

This is going to be under the deck. There won’t be much direct sunlight. The deck will block most of it.

It’s under a deck, and the deck may even have trees or a roof over it.

I feel bad for the new homeowner who find it and needs the police to come out to find out it’s plastic.

What if they are replacing 1 board and see it then need to tear up the deck to access a plastic skeleton.

yeah but they’re wasting police time. Say it’s a cishet rich white couple without a dog who buys the house, the time the cops are wasting there they won’t spend shooting dogs, killing black people or tasing autistic kids. That’s a win in my book.

If you end up giving the new home owner a heart attack and they die… does that make you a real murderer by way of a fake murder?

Very clever. Post your crime online with a cover story. Very “no officer, it is plastic. I don’t know where my neighbor with the loud stereo has gone to.”
