I struggled with this. A degree of separation implies there’s somebody between you. But then Epstien himself would be a -1? Neither is satisfying.
After going for a run I’ve changed my mind. Epstein is a 0, hilldawg is a 1 - otherwise she’d be Epstein.
I think Epstein would also be a 0, since we’re just counting “has touched”. Epstein touched himself all the time, but since Ghislaine is as much a 0 as some random passerby who walked into him on the street is a 0, then it shouldn’t matter how much contact you have, just that you have it.
Anyway by this method, my Epstein number is either 1 or 2, depending on wether Michael Kors has met Epstein personally.
