The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has ruled that Israel’s continued presence in the occupied Palestinian territories is illegal and that it should come to an end “as rapidly as possible”.

Obviously is very different from legal decisions making.

(In effect) they were accused of trespassing while standing somewhere they shouldn’t be. It’s now gone through courts and legally convicted of trespassing.

Its the whole reason we have courts

We should not have needed the ICJ to rule on this. We have the sovereignty to act without them.

Unfortunately we also have the sovereignty to ignore the ICJ.

So you’re saying that you should have been able to intervene in a foreign country without legal justification because of your beliefs that what they are doing is wrong.

You know, the whole issue with Russias invasion of Ukraine?

Yeah. If it’s not Israeli then we’re not interfering in their domestic affairs.

Furthermore who we send our military aid to is nobody’s business but our own.
