This Newsweek article simply presents her official campaign statement, of giving a speech about peace, to a country run by a dictator that was already helping Assad massacre his own people in Syria. It also mentions a Senate Intelligence Committee investigation, but neglects to mention she never cooperated with that investigation.

Correct. Similarly, being an intelligence asset does not necessarily imply someone is taking orders or being paid. Asset is not an employee-employer relationship. It’s a tool, and the quid pro quo can take many forms.

So just maybe it’s possible Putin would invite someone to come insult him in his own country for “Excessive militarism” and not have them thrown out of a window if that person was zero threat and could possibly cause chaos for an opponent?

After all, what candidate would lie repeatedly to their constituents about something that would make them look bad?

Crazy how she keeps popping up in presidential elections and never attempted a senate run or a house run.

Anyway, she eats dinner with traitors and war crime speed runners. Enemies of democracy tend to do that

That article just says that the Stein campaign denies it. There’s no substantive investigation documented here, just statements from Stein and the campaign itself. This is just a denial, not a debunking.

It was investigated and they found no wrongdoing. Do you not think that the democrats would have thrown lots of money into finding out if it were true or not?! lmao

If you have proof, please send to the democratic party and the news orgs. That would be front page news and would decimate the green party! So what is your proof? Share it here too please!

Because people with way more money than you or I have, have already looked into it. And they found nothing. So please please please release your proof to the world!

Buddy, I’m not the one trying to convince anybody of anything. All I did was read your comment, then read the article you linked to justify your comment and saw that it just paraphrased the campaign flack. You’re the one in here hollering around about how Stein isn’t a transparent plant. If you think it’s not obvious to any serious person, okay, cool. Enjoy that.

All of her first days tasks are things that without support from Congress would break down pretty quickly unfortunately. Take the border stuff, Biden has tried to get funding for more agents to alleviate congestion, and The House has killed any attempt.

I’d love to see the green party show up in the house or the Senate, get a base going.

That’s how they should be starting. Get candidates in the state legislatures and local offices. Instead, she is insisting on getting on ballots states like Wisconsin where she has no electors because the Greens don’t have anyone in a state office who is eligible to nominate electors for the party. Even if she were to win in Wisconsin, she wouldn’t get the votes in the electoral collage because she has no electors. The only effect she can have is to again steal enough votes from the Democratic candidate to let Trump win the state.

She wastes time and money every 4 years doing something that has 0% chance of success, and realistically can only harm the side she’s closest to.

The Green Party has fielded candidates for both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives in various elections over the years, but none have won a seat in Congress.

Green Party candidates have occasionally garnered significant attention and votes, but they have not been successful in winning federal office due to the challenges third parties face in the U.S. political system, including limited visibility, funding, and the dominance of the two major parties.

They have had some local successes in other parts of the country, such as winning seats in local government or state legislatures. Californians have elected 55 of the 226 office-holding Greens nationwide. Other states with high numbers of Green elected officials include Pennsylvania (31), Wisconsin (23), Massachusetts (18) and Maine (17). Maine has the highest per capita number of Green elected officials in the country and the largest Green registration percentage with more than 29,273 Greens comprising 2.95% of the electorate as of November 2006.[68] Madison, Wisconsin is the city with the most Green elected officials (8), followed by Portland, Maine (7).

Now having said that, I 100 percent respect and support you voting for whoever you want in the elections.

226 people out of how many total? How many national seats do they have? How many states do they have electors for?

Your handful of members is meaningless for a national party. You couldn’t even get an average of 5 people per state. Again, focus on being a real party worthy of actual support instead of being the butt of the joke every presidential cycle.

What kind of response were you looking for? Should I ONLY vote for party that will win? That doesn’t seem very democratic.

Before Biden stepped down, odds were that Trump was gonna win. Most people knew that, even democrats.

And you were still gonna vote Democrat, right? Even tho you know they wouldn’t win. Right?

Luckily for your party, he DID step down and Harris is a much stronger candidate.

But I’m still not gonna vote for Harris.
