    I’m not very well versed in Moomin lore. Are Hattifatteners related to Moomins? Moomintroll refers to them as “my poor relations” in this comic strip.

      The comics were translated into english by Toves brother Lars, originally written by Tove in swedish.

      I’m not sure what the original swedish word was, but I suspect he’s trying to say that “here come all my shitty ‘friends’ taking advantage of me”.
