WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says that he was freed because “I pled guilty to journalism.” In his first public remarks since he was released from prison in June, Assange testified Tuesday to the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly, which includes lawmakers from 46 European countries, on legal affairs and human rights committee.

      The man can’t be some free speech martyr while picking and choosing what docs to publish from which nation. It’s all, nothing, or you’re a state asset, witting or not. To figure out what state that might be, look no further than the leaks he made every excuse not to publish.

        I am not talking about that, I am talking about how he staged the releases of leaks, he did it more to keep WL in the spotlight than to give focus on the leaks themselves.
