There are a number of surviving pieces from Roman Egypt that are just fantastic, incredible artistic skill. Mummy portraits are another good example

If you’re legit looking for work like this, I have no idea how expensive it is (I presume very), but I believe in the modern day the terms used for this kind of work is glass gilding and verre eglomise. Not so sure about the potential of getting someone who can do this style, mind you, but I know that this kind of material is still worked with.
