Here’s to hoping it works! Citizencon got me all hyped and I was kinda bummed that I couldn’t do anything in the PU. Hopefully this addresses the 30ks as well. They were constant over the weekend.

Same, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to go out hunting for the Halloween masks at least.

4.0 should be coming soon, within the next few months at least.

Their network message queue system is getting jammed up.

Basically things “work” but you have to wait 30seconds for anything to happen (in the somewhat working servers).

So clicking on an elevator button… You have to wait 30 seconds before the panel recognizes that you’ve clicked it.

Opening up inventory takes about 30seconds. Equipping any individual item takes 30seconds (although it will appear to equip immediately, but if you open up the console and enter r_displayinfo 3 it will tell you how long an inventory action is actually taking to process).

A lot of ASOPs are frozen on the screens of other players ships.

Half the time you may not see other players, but getting in a crowded (seemingly empty) elevator is a death sentence if others are sprinting in too quickly.

Good luck getting to your hangar. It’s probably safer to go to a garage and drive out to the nearest outpost to spawn a ship.

A lot of ASOPs are frozen on the screens of other players ships.

I hate-like this detail the most. I would never have imagined that ASOPs are that “real” and I’m kind of charmed by the idea that the UI on those machines can get jammed up and glitchy. It almost feels like a real world terminal failure mode.
