You can still install and activate win 11 pro for free with a 7 pro key, today. Its a freaking vector for selling you other crap. You don’t even have to activate it at all. It’s fully functional forever unactivated. Just a watermark.
This is literally your OS’s creator adding a backdoor, it could be anything bit they dont seem to care to do anything other than adware.
