I used to busk on the steps of Sacré-Cœur with a couple of Algerian friends early '90s, when we where finished collecting tourist’s Francs and our Nigerian friends where done selling balloons and trinkets…“Bouge de là!” (Move on!). Next bus of tourists would arrive, rinse and repeat. I have good memories of my time in Paris, thanks you for taking me way back.
My friend and colleague cook at a grand cafe, Jules introduced me to Solaar.

First track…“Bouge de là”
Amazing what we connect with certain songs or musicians. Thanks for sharing that backstory.
