Been messing around trying to mix my two styles together and overall make my style look a little bit more rustic while also changing the way I’m shading. I’m doing a rough sketch and then sort of melding the coloured in parts with the sketch to achieve a semi lineless look. I’m also using Paint Tool SAI’s Shade blending method rather than Multiply. Multiply had this tendency to not shade very deep and also looked somewhat desaturated, whereas Shade does the opposite. Even though I doinclude links toprogress pictures and even files in the description of my art, I get the impression that when people are just scrolling through they think it is AI because the clean airbrush-y style is one I see most often imitated by AI, and that’s not an impression I want to leave.
