Really interesting how the rich regularly enjoy all the things they want to “save us” from.

    • Foreign products
    • walkable cities
    • green tech
    • progressive culture

But when poor people enjoy it, it’s “decadence”.

All the tech ghouls sending their children to Montessori schools and imposing limits on screen time shows us exactly how much we should appreciate their contributions to society.

You think any driving that the Ford CEO does himself is for purpose, or that he drives on public roads that he doesn’t own?

please tell me I’m wrong but all I could find was stuff that was 25+ years old so it doesn’t need the NTSB crash certification

I mean you can buy one in Mexico if you want to see what happens if you drive one on a public US road, assuming you can drive it back

Well you see, American products are for stinky poor people! I’m sure they don’t mind paying more for less good products! It’s their patriotic duty after all.

Oh, so it’s basically a sportscar that costs as much as a Honda fucking Civic. AND IT’S ELECTRIC?

No wonder there’s gonna be 200% tariffs on these cars—the last bastion of American manufacturing would fucking collapse in a week if people could buy them at fair market prices. The west is fucking cooked, I swear to god.

Here I am riding my 2006 SUV until it blows up with me inside, when all I want is one of those new BYD hybrids that go like over 2000km on a single tank+battery charge and only cost like $15k new. I hate it here

Maybe he’s anticipating a job offer from Xiaomi. Not that their cars aren’t better, I just can’t imagine one of these guys taking joy in anything that isn’t hoarding wealth or causing suffering.
