Oh, it’s like a school kid warning his friend not to go to school tomorrow by posting a picture of a real gun, but in this case it’s a picture of a video game gun warning not to go on zoom tomorrow because he’s gonna shoot the gun zapper at people on the screen tomorrow.

apparently could also be a reference to an SCP object mentioned above that makes the shooter see the people on screen react accordingly to being shot and the reality they see on the screen continue accordingly.
I know exactly what that is, and how it works, and it still took me a minute. Then I had to hold in a spit take so hard I drooled.
