The top seed of the NFC will be decided in the final regular-season game, when the Detroit Lions face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night. The winner will get a first-round playoff bye and home-field advantage until the Super Bowl.

Vikings fan here. I too am looking forward to it. I have no idea what to expect and either team could win. I don’t hate Detroit like I do the Packers. They were so inept for decades, just like the Packers were before Favre. I’m sure that will wear off of some point but we’re still in the pat them on the head and give them an “atta boy” phase. Just like the kid down the block training for the special olympics.

Most likely it will be another shootout and the team who makes even just a couple mistakes will be getting the 5 seed.

As a vikings fan, that’ll be us lol. Detroit is unstoppable when healthy, and they run a tight ship with all of the backups they have. If it isn’t the vikings year, I hope it’s Detroit’s, they deserve it.

Middle to upper 30’s is definitely where Detroit has the edge. Meaning defense has no impact. If we keep it around 30 points, then just1 meaningful defensive stand can make the difference.
