I want to say the poster was being sarcastic, but I am pretty sure most people will have forgotten why the Emmys were delayed in 2001 by now.

The only reason I know is because of Studio 60 – it’s a major plot point in one of the episodes :)

    Even if I don’t KNOW why something was delayed in 2001, I always assume it was because of a major event that took place in early September. I’m usually correct.

    I’m supposed to care about people who are impossibly rich whining about things? In '01, it made perfect sense. But the recent one? Good for them.
