Yeah, php (or as I like to pronounce it : fp) isn’t going anywhere. It’s not all bad, modern php made by capable developers is pretty nice. The problem is all of the garbage made by anyone and their good-with-computers nephew since there’s little to no barrier for entry. Not saying it’s bad to be a beginner, everyone starts somewhere and if it wasn’t php it would be something else… But this is what most of php is, mounds of garbage with nuggets of treasure as a byproduct of modern society’d move fast and break things mentality with no cleanup effort in sight.
