My version of this is when I assume the game has autosaved because a significant event or cut-scene has occurred, so I quit without manually saving. The warning says “Unsaved progress will be lost (game last saved 44 minutes ago)”, and I’ll only catch a glimpse of the “44 minutes ago” as my finger makes contact with the button to confirm exiting without saving 😬

Every time. I got burned back in the day having to restart ff7 3 times due to bad memory cards. Never finished it.
